I also mine in Excavator Power Armor even when I'm not chasing perfect math. The carry weight alone saves the run. You're not "farming efficiently" if you're crawling to a bench or dumping loot you actually need later.
Events That Top You Up While You PlayPublic events can quietly carry your Ultracite supply if you loot like you mean it. Seismic Activity is great for this—Titan loot, miner drops, and all the scrap that piles up if you don't rush out. The Scorchbeast Queen and Earle runs help too, not because they hand you Ultracite neatly, but because the piles of parts and junk add up once you're scrapping everything between fights. Do your fissure loop, do an indoor reset when you're tired, then smelt in batches with your perks set, and you'll stop feeling "Ultracite poor" all the time.
