ARC Raiders skill tree guide: prioritise stamina, crouch speed and faster looting first, then add shield or weight perks to match your build for safer, more profitable runs.
Most new ARC Raiders players make the same mistake early on: they dump points into anything that sounds tougher or deadlier, then wonder why every run feels clunky. The skill tree really works better when you treat it as a way to smooth out your whole raid loop, not just your gunfights. Better stamina, faster looting, quieter movement — that stuff pays off every single drop. If you're trying to build smarter from day one, it helps to plan around efficiency first, and plenty of players who browse U4GM for game-related help tend to think the same way. You'll notice pretty fast that the strongest setups aren't the loudest ones. They're the ones that let you move, grab valuables, and leave before things go sideways.
Start with the perks that save timeIf you're fresh to the game, Mobility and Survival should get your first attention. Youthful Lungs and Marathon Runner don't look flashy, but they change the feel of your character right away. You can run longer, recover quicker, and stop getting caught flat-footed after a short sprint. Agile Croucher matters more than people expect too, especially once you start using cover properly instead of panic-running in open ground. Then there's Looter's Instincts, which is one of those perks you don't fully appreciate until you play without it. Less time fiddling with containers means less time standing still, and standing still gets people killed. Revitalizing Squat and Silent Scavenger are huge early picks as well. Crouch, recover stamina, crack things open with less noise, keep moving. It's simple, but it works.
Build around how you actually playOnce that foundation is in place, the tree opens up a lot more. Solo players usually get the most value by staying on the mobility-heavy path. Faster crouch speed, cleaner movement, quicker breaching — it all adds up. Proficient Pryer is especially handy if you're the type who likes cutting through buildings fast and leaving before another squad shows up. Stealth-focused players can lean even harder into that style and sneak through areas other people avoid. But not everyone wants to play like a ghost. If you carry heavier gear or rely on shields, Conditioning starts to make real sense. Used to the Weight and Loaded Arms help your loadout feel manageable instead of sluggish. That difference matters in fights where hesitation gets punished.
Hybrid setups tend to age betterA pure stealth build is fun, and a tanky setup can absolutely win brawls, but a mixed approach is often the most dependable over time. A lot of players end up somewhere in the middle without even planning to. They keep enough mobility to rotate, crouch, and loot without feeling stuck, then add conditioning as their weapons and armour get heavier. That's usually the sweet spot. You don't need every shield perk if you rarely equip one, and you don't need to overinvest in niche bonuses that only matter once in a blue moon. A good skill point should solve a problem you face all the time. Slow stamina regen, noisy breaching, awkward carry weight — those are real problems. Fix those first.
Respec often and keep the tree honestOne of the best things about ARC Raiders is that you're not locked into a bad setup forever. Respeccing is cheap enough that you can test things, drop what feels useless, and shift with your gear. That flexibility matters more than people think, especially as your habits change. Maybe you started as a scavenger, then moved into riskier PvP zones. Maybe you realised shields just aren't your thing. Adjust the tree to match the kit, not the other way around. Players looking at different progression options, including ARC Raiders Accounts for a faster start, still get the most value when they build around movement, stamina, and practical survival instead of chasing raw power for its own sake.
